The decision

Having used .Net with primarily C# for a couple of years, I decided it is time to take a look at F# and what it has to offer.

Many years ago, at university, I was briefly introduced to Scheme, Prolog and Haskell. the latter two were quite neat as I recall. Alas, a long time has passed and memory and knowledge fades away.

But I do remember the expressive and straightforward way those languages could be used to code. Until now functional programming has not been an option when working professionally (for me at least). But with the introduction of F# I think that will change in a near future.

So, I have decided to learn it. From scratch. And I will blog about it all, from my first staggering steps up until I become an expert (if ever).
